What a fabulous retreat we hosted at West Lexham Manor earlier in September! We've had the most fantastic response from everyone who came along - the venue made a stunning backdrop and our perfect Indian Summer allowed us to swim in our own private pool and really make use of the grounds. We all thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful bonding process between us that evolved so naturally and calmly and which, we are told, sets us apart from other retreats. We all feel like we have made life-long friends and we are planning to meet up soon!
By popular demand we are holding a MENOPAUSE DAY at the beautiful Assembly Rooms in Norwich - spaces are limited so do book quickly to reserve your place. The date is 28th January 2019, from 10 - 12.30 and the price of £35 includes refreshments and cake! Join us and a wonderful group of like-minded women to explore this very real subject, have fun, and learn the science behind HRT, improved sleep, anxiety, weight gain and lots of other issues that may be affecting you at this time.
From time to time we all need a little boost with our wellbeing – often we are too busy to look at ways to explore the changes we can make, and have become too distracted by our modern way of living to see that our habits have become unhealthy.
Kate Pigeon-Owen has worked extensively and globally in areas of stress management and communication for twenty years and has now carefully formulated our highly successful Retreats held around the country. Our first was held at the wonderful West Lexham Manor, with our own private heated swimming pool! The theme was self-care. Our guests gained an embodied awareness of this as they experienced a sense of deep relaxation, spaciousness and inner peace. They learned self-massage and reflexology and had ample time to sleep, rest and be nourished. Our retreats are for individuals, groups or corporate teams. We will tailor-make the content to suit you !

Phenomenal retreat! Where do I start? This was my first ever retreat and it definitely surpassed all my expectations. So many positives; time to relax and reflect; 'me-time', a safe, non-judgemental environment to share and learn new experiences; Circle Gathering - thank you Caroline; learning simple ways to help myself which are achievable but make a huge difference to my wellbeing, and last but no means least delicious, healthy food and drinks. Kate's session on increasing our energy, reducing stress in our lives and creating new 'neuropathways' was both informative and enjoyable. Penny's insight into reflexology and how to use it on myself, as well as the 1:1 treatment with her, were extremely helpful. I found the restorative yoga quite challenging but Ian guided us through it and I felt a lot better for having done it. Thank you everyone! The retreat was very well planned and executed and I would definitely recommend it.
I booked Kate's retreat on a whim, mainly due to the draw of the outdoor pool, and then wondered what I had been thinking! Although very open to complementary therapies and ideas I'm not usually a fan of women only groups. How wrong I was!! The non-judgemental support felt through the whole group was healing and inspiring. It was a treat indeed to be looked after so well in such beautiful surroundings. I definitely have some new tools in my armoury of self-care and some new friends as a result of my time with Kate and Caroline. Until next time....x
